Cauliflower is a round cabbage variety , which consists of green stems with white flower buds. Because of its mild taste, it is one of the most popular vegetables in Europe. We source cauliflower from the Netherlands, but also from countries such as France and Spain .
Like most vegetables, cauliflower contains much fiber. This helps digestion and ensures proper absorption of nutrients. Also, cauliflower is a source of vitamin K, potassium and protein, which is important for strong bones. It is notable that for example, cauliflower like strawberry and other fruit contains a lot of folate (vitamin B11) and vitamin C.
